League Session 4 – New Structure (5th–8th Grade)

As we head into tryout season, we’re excited to introduce a new format for League Session 4 designed to better prepare our 5th–8th grade athletes for the next level.

This session will no longer follow the 45 minutes of practice / 45 minutes of game format. Instead, sessions will be primarily focused on practice and skill development, with approximately 30 minutes of controlled game-style play at the end.

The majority of each session will be structured more like club-style clinics, with a strong emphasis on skill development, positional training, and high-repetition drills. Our goal is to maximize quality touches on the ball so athletes continue building confidence, consistency, and game IQ during this important time of year.

As we build out our team rosters for next season, we will be evaluating and working with next year’s 5th–8th graders (current 4th–7th graders) throughout this session. This is a great opportunity for athletes to develop, be seen, and prepare for upcoming tryouts.

Each session will conclude with a controlled game segment, allowing athletes to apply what they’ve worked on in a structured, competitive environment. This format ensures:

• More intentional reps

• Focused feedback from coaches

• Skill refinement leading into tryouts

• Game-like experience without sacrificing development time

As tryouts approach, we want our athletes sharp, confident, and fundamentally sound. This adjusted structure allows us to prioritize development while still keeping the competitive piece they love.

IVC Youth League Session 3 Jan/Feb

Join the Fun at Infinity Volleyball Youth League!

Now Enrolling 3rd–7th Grade Players

Infinity Volleyball Club (IVC) is excited to offer Youth League play designed especially for young athletes in 3rd through 7th grade. Our goal is simple: to provide a fun, positive, and development-focused environment where kids can learn, grow, and fall in love with the game of volleyball.

🌟 What to Expect

Our leagues are short-format (5–6 weeks) and perfect for beginners or players looking to strengthen their skills. Each team will:

• Practice once a week

• Play weekly games

• Receive coaching from dedicated young adult coaches passionate about teaching the game

🏐 League Purpose

IVC Youth Leagues are an introduction to volleyball—not a replacement for competitive Club teams. We focus on:

• Building fundamental skills

• Teaching game play in a low-pressure setting

• Preparing players for school teams or future club opportunities

Winning isn’t the goal—growth, effort, and fun are!

⏰ Schedule & Structure

• Most sessions are held on Saturdays

• Each session lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

• ~40 minutes of skill-focused practice

• ~45 minutes of game-style play (3 sets when possible: 2 to 25, 1 to 15)

We keep two teams in the gym per time slot. If sets finish early, our coaches continue working with athletes—especially on serving consistency.

🧒 For Our Youngest Athletes (3rd–4th Grade)

Players at this level will spend more time developing individual skills and gaining confidence with the ball. Our focus is on maximum touches and learning the basics so they’re game-ready by 5th grade.

👥 Team Formation

• Players are encouraged to register with friends—just make sure you all sign up before the deadline.

• Teams will be formed after registration closes.

• Players will be contacted by their coach once teams and schedules are finalized. (Be sure to register with an active email address!)

If you’re a parent who’d like to get involved, we’d love your help! Volunteer coaches receive free registration for their child. Just check the “Volunteer Coach” option during sign-up.
